Yes – especially during winter months. Expect moderate to severe airframe icing in clouds and precipitation. Check SIGMETs and icing forecasts carefully.

No precision approaches – RNP AR is standard.

VFR is possible but not recommended without local knowledge.

Steep final approach on RWY 23 due to terrain.

Thorough briefing via Naviair and AIP Greenland is essential.
